OUR ONE ON ONE PERSONAL TRAINING EXPERIENCE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE A SHIFT

We created the one on one personal training experience because we saw a need to shift the group training model. Our one on one personal training experience focuses on three components – personalization, accountability, and program design



PERSONALIZATION

Most group classes flood their room with 20 to 30+ people, focus primarily on burning as many calories as possible, and provide very generic work out programming. You need to be trained in an environment where you can get 1on1 personal training attention, and your whole program can be personalized to you. 

WE TRAIN YOU WITH 5-10 CLIENTS 

During your workout, we only train 5-10 people at a time. We know your name, your restrictions, your goals, what weight your lifting, all the way to your kids name, and what you ate last night. By keeping your workouts to 10 people or less this allows you to feel like you’re getting your own 1on1 personal training session.
 

WE MEET YOU ONE ON ONE EVERY MONTH

Every month you get a one on one session to review your activity, your nutrition, your training program, your habits, and make sure you are on track to making a shift. Every 4 weeks your markers of progress will be reassessed, adjusted, and actions will be defined for your next month. 



PROGRAM DESIGN

 If you are just starting out with exercise, YOU could literally do ANYTHING and achieve quick, early results. This is the “honeymoon effect”. Eventually, you will reach a plateau. Especially, if you’re only focus is calorie centric, general programming, circuit style group workouts.

If you aren’t new to exercise, you might already have a lot of experience in fitness. If you already have reached a plateau in your training, we can help you make sure you are doing the right things to achieve the most effective long term sustainable results.

It’s time to stop exercising and start training.

Our program will address you at an individual level, and is designed to achieve the most effective results*, teach you how to train for life, and keep you accountable to your goals.

YOUR WORKOUT SHIFTS EVERY 6-8 WEEKS

Your body is meant to adapt. 

When you are hot, you sweat
When you are cold, you shiver
When you do a shit ton of cardio, your body becomes more efficient with calories
When you eat less calories, your body’s metabolic rate decreases and your hunger hormones increase
Without giving your body a different stimulus, your body will adapt, and regulate.

Because of this – you shouldn’t be doing one general workout that fits all. You should be changing your program around every 6-8 weeks.

Based on your goal, fitness level, and exercise history we build you a Shift Map that plans out your training phases and shift programs throughout the year to make sure it is the most effective.



ACCOUNTABILITY

Most fitness places responsibility ends at the door. We take this shift outside. We came up with the term 23.5. This represents the 23.5 hours you are not in our studio working out. Fitness studios are barely 10% of your caloric expenditure in the week. We make sure we keep you accountable in and outside of the studio when it comes to your programs, your nutrition, your activity, and your behaviors on a daily basis.

EVERY SHIFT COUNTS

Every shift counts. Every step. Every bite. Every workout. No matter how much you want to restart on Monday - you are always building or losing momentum. Shift points were designed to build self-awareness and create accountability for your behaviors and habits. We track your daily activity, nutrition, training program, consistency. Within 3 months, you should reach 110 points, and a new momentum level. Building momentum, one shift at a time.


WHEN YOU GET STARTED
We start by meeting you with your first 1on1 Shift Session which is a 60-minute consultation, assessment, and orientation. 

CONSULTATION

During your consultation, we get to know you, and define your goals. We look at your exercise history, your habits/behaviors, what you’ve done when you’ve found success and if you were able to sustain it, how active you are, how your nutrition is, we figure out your basic understanding of nutrition, and learn about your environment. With the information we retain, we are able to tell you what your first shift should be and begin to map out your program.

ASSESSMENT

After we have an understanding of what you want, and how to help you, we take measurements to establish your baseline.
We bring you into the studio for a comprehensive assessment. We assess basic movement patterns to see how your mobility, mind muscle connection, and form is on foundational movements like a squat, hip hinge, push, pull, and unilateral movements.


ORIENTATION

Now that we know your goals, your history, and have gone through an assessment – we shift your goal. Right there we tell you where you need to start. You receive your first Shift Map that gives you a step by step process of what you need to do for your first nutrition program, training program, and we start shifting your habits one shift at a time.
